3 HUMAN RESOURCE AND PAYROLL AUDIT
Human Resource and Payroll Audit is an exercise in cost reduction and revenue generation. It has as its objective, the elimination of ‘ghosting’ behaviour which is a fictitious form of human resource wastage in the system. Ghost payments and ghost workers are two intertwined criminal and antisocial behaviours that have gross implication for the resources of the Government. From our experience as Human Resource and Payroll Audit Consultants, we have scientifically verified for example that between 5% and 14% monthly staff emoluments are payments to ghosting behaviour and ‘fictitious’ workers.
